Terms & educational-use notice
Educational use only
Everything on The Road, including the WAIT™ client and its printed summary, is general educational information. It is not legal advice and does not create a lawyer–client or any other professional relationship.
What this site will not do
- It will not declare a legal conclusion about your situation.
- It will not calculate a legal deadline. Only the relevant body or a qualified professional can confirm a date.
- It will not create legal documents or filings.
- It will not decide your rights or anyone else's.
- It will not give advice tailored to your individual circumstances.
No endorsement of any method
The Road does not promote, sell, or endorse any method, template, instrument, filing, seminar, or programme. Claim audits describe what is typically claimed and what would have to be verified. A page describing a method is not a recommendation to use it.
Your decisions remain yours
You are responsible for what you sign, send, file, pay for, or rely on. Acting or declining to act on the basis of anything read here is your decision, taken at your own risk. Steps such as stopping a payment, letting a deadline pass, not responding to a court or agency, or making a public filing can carry serious consequences regardless of what you believe about the underlying claim.
Get qualified review
Where a date, a court, an agency, property, or a significant amount of money is involved, a licensed professional in the relevant jurisdiction is the appropriate route. The WAIT™ summary is designed to make that conversation shorter and cheaper, not to replace it.
Accuracy and sources
Pages state plainly when authoritative citations have not yet been entered. Material may be incomplete, may become out of date, and may not apply in your jurisdiction. Verify anything you intend to rely on against the primary source itself.
Trade marks
WAIT™ and The Road are used as marks of this project. Other names belong to their owners.
Privacy
Data handling is described in the privacy notice. In short: your answers stay in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.
Liability
The Road is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, it is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, this material.
